Messi Is Europe’s Best, Beats Ronaldo And Suarez To UEFA Award
Barcelona’s soccer star, Lionel Messi has been announced as Europe’s best player for the 2014/2015 season.
The Argentine has been awarded the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award after helping his club to a treble last season.The 28-year-old shrugged off competition from his club-mate, Luis Suarez and Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo to win the award.
Messi scored 58 goals and made 31 assists last season.
Messi got the award he last won in 2011 after Thursday’s UEFA Champions League group stage draw.
